What is the difference between CD Duplication and CD Replication?

Whether you require one disc or a few hundred, CD duplication is the best method for producing a small numbers of discs in a timely and cost-effective manner. Duplicating discs is a process where data is copied from one disc and 'burned' onto a pre-manufactured CDR (the "R" stands for "Recordable").

CD Replication is a process where each disc is injection-molded from polycarbonate pellets and physically imprinted with data and then printed with graphics. While replicated discs are the highest quality and most durable type of discs to make, due to the set-up costs involved they don't become cost-effective in quantities less than 300 units.

Disc Print Options

When it comes to printing graphics on your duplicated CDs, we can provide you with a variety of printing options to meet your needs. High resolution inkjet printing is the most common means to print your graphics onto your CDs, but we can also provide silkscreen printing as well as CMYK Offset printing if required.
