Start Your Order

Placing an order is really quite easy if you follow our step by step instructions as noted below. To avoid the potential for delays we strongly recommend that you review our Disc Specifications and Artwork Specifications prior to submitting your production assets.

Deadline or "RUSH"?: Do you have a deadline date or "RUSH" when you absolutely *must* have your order in your hands? If so, we need to know about it as soon as possible. "RUSH" orders must be approved in advance - please contact us.

Cut-Off Time: Orders received before 12:00 noon (Pacific Standard Time) on any regular business day will be placed in Order Processing that same day. Orders received after the noon cut-off deadline will be placed in Order Processing on the next regular business day.

Order Timeline: Your quotation should include an estimate on how many business days it will take to produce your order. The estimated ready-by-date is calculated from the date you approve your artwork proofs (approval cut-off deadline is before 10:00am Pacific Standard Time on any regular business day). The approval date is "Day Zero" of the timeline and you count forward from there to determine when the order should be complete.

*Standard Turn-Times For Replication - up to 10,000 units:

» Bulk discs: 5-7 business days
» Discs in standard unprinted sleeves: 7 business days
» Discs in jewel cases with printed paper inserts: 10 business days
» Discs in library cases with printed paper inserts: 10 business days
» Discs in custom printed sleeves or disc jackets: 15 business days

» Discs in digipak: 15 business days

*Standard Turn-Times For Duplication - up to 200 units:

» 3 to 5 business days

*All quoted turn-times are based on business days AFTER approval of proofs. Every effort will be made to fill orders within the timeline quoted at the outset of the project, however, quoted ready-by-dates are to be considered as estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Item 1: Quote

All orders should start with a Quotation because it's important for order details and pricing to be confirmed before anything else takes place. You can submit an automated web-quote request or you can contact one of our Sales Representatives directly by e-mail or telephone.

Item 2: 'New Project' Order Forms

Order Forms for short-run DUPLICATION (up to 200 units) - download
Order Forms for REPLICATION (300+ units) - download

Complete all applicable information on the orders forms, then print, sign and date them. If you have a Precision Disc Quotation or correspondence that pertains to special arrangements or instructions about your order, please include copies when you submit your Project Order Forms.

Item 3: The Content Master

Your master (and back-up copy) must be supplied to us in 'final form' - this means that you have reviewed your masters thoroughly and confirm that they perform exactly as desired. Always keep your own copy for back-up and safe keeping. Additional important information on supplying your content master can be found on our disc specifications page.

Item 4: Artwork Files

Artwork issues are the #1 reason for delays and potential extra charges throughout the CD/DVD manufacturing industry. Your artwork files must be supplied to us in 'final form' - this means that you have supplied your designs on Precision Disc design templates and that your designs conform to our artwork specifications.

Important: If your order is a "RUSH" it is critical that your artwork is supplied to specifications. Any delays will jeopardize your delivery date. If your order is a "RUSH" your electronic proofs must be approved no later than ONE business day after we have sent them. Requirement for modifications or changes after receipt of proofs will jeopardize your delivery date.

Item 5: Payment

Precision Disc's standard payment terms are: Minimum 50% downpayment with the balance owing paid in full prior to the release of goods. Credit terms are only available upon prior application and approval.
