All
Orders Must Start With A Quote
At Precision Disc all
orders must start as a quotation because product

You can get an automated web-quote for many of our
products but if there is something specific you
require please contact us directly and we will be
happy to assist you.

days.
◦ Discs in standard cases with printed inserts: *10
business days.
◦ Discs in printed sleeves: *15 business days.

*Turn-times are based on regular business days

cut-off time is 10:00am Pacific Time on any regular
business day.

Deadline Dates (Is
Your Order A Rush or Deadline)
If you
have a "Rush" or "Deadline" date for your order we
need to know about it before your order is
placed. To determine if we can accommodate your
rush/deadline request you must provide us with two
important pieces of information:
1. What date will ALL production materials be in our
hands (before 12:00 noon Pacific Time)?
2. What date do you need to have your order in your
hands?
If it is determined that we can accommodate your
rush/deadline request it is your sole responsibility
to: (A) Supply all required production materials in
proper working order as per the specified date and
time, and (B) ensure that your proofs have been
approved in writing before 12:00 noon (Pacific Time)
on the following business day after they were sent.
Failure to do so will void your ready-by date.
It is very important that your production materials
are ready to manufacture as supplied (ie: in final
form). Any delays, changes or holds on your order
will void your deadline date even if it's a rush.

Are Turn-Times
Guaranteed?
Due to
the inherent nature of custom manufacturing
turn-times cannot be guaranteed even if on a rush or
deadline. As
stated in our Terms Of Business, "Every effort will
be made to fill orders within the time-line quoted
at the outset of the project, however ready-by-dates
(whether written, oral, or implied) are not
guaranteed. Though uncommon, delays can occur, and
Precision Disc Manufacturing Corp. does not assume
any responsibility for any damages growing out of or
owing to any delays."
Important: Precision Disc strongly recommends that
product related releases, events, travel plans or
performances are booked/scheduled until the product
is in the Customer's possession and meets with their
approval.

Order Cut-Off Time
The cut-off time to receive
your production assets is 12:00pm (noon) Pacific
Time on any regular business day. Orders/assets
received by that time will begin order processing
that same day. Orders/assets received after the
cut-off time will be processed on the next business
day.

Required
Production Assets
All of the following
production assets must be submitted before an order
can officially begin:
1. Precision
Disc Order Forms or your own detailed company
purchase order.
2. Payment.
3. Master disc (and back-up copy).
4. Intellectual Property Release Form (and
accompanying proof of licensing if applicable to
your order).
5. Artwork files.
As stated in our Terms Of Business, "The Customer
acknowledges that their order cannot commence until
all required production materials are supplied to
Precision Disc in proper working order as per the
requirements and specifications as published by
Precision Disc. Furthermore, the Customer
acknowledges that any delay in providing production
assets as per Precision Disc's requirements and
specifications will in turn delay the start date for
the order and all ready-by dates agreed upon,
whether written or oral, may be delayed."

Return
Of Your Production Materials
It is not standard policy
to return your supplied production materials with
your order. If you require the return of these
materials you must indicate it at the time of order
on your Order Forms. In the event that you request
the return of your supplied production materials
after your order has left our facility, we will make
them available for your to pick up at your expense.
As standard policy we will archive client-supplied
production assets for a period of 12 months after
the order has been completed, however, we cannot
guarantee the safe-keeping of these materials and
waive any responsibility for their damage or loss.
At the end of the 12 month archiving period
Precision Disc may dispose of any
unclaimed/remaining production assets or materials.
Remember: Never send us your original copies
of your production materials - only send us copies
of the originals so you always have your originals
for your own back-up and safety purposes.
Note: It is not standard policy to release
replication stampers or printing films. Should the
Customer request these productions related assets to
be released, Precision Disc reserves the right to
refuse the return of the assets for additional
production work due to the potential of the assets
having been damaged while out of our care.

order and production assets by the cut-off deadline,
the following takes place:
1. Order Processing: Your order form details will be
entered into our production system by our Order

order.
2. Payment Processing: Your order then goes to our
Billing Department to have your payment processed.
you will receive an e-mailed acknowledgement of this
face and be provided with an Order Confirmation that
summarizes your order details and confirms the cost.
This is a summary and not an invoice. If there is
anything that doesn't look right to you please

Pre-Press Department is notified that your artwork
files are available to be reviewed. You can expect
to have electronic proofs (.PDF file format)

from our Pre-Press Department with an explanation
and a request for your assistance.

materials and there are no issues to cause a "hold"
to be placed on your order:
◦
Allow one business day for Order
Processing/Payment Processing.
◦
Allow two additional business days for
generation of .PDF proofs.

What Is A "Hold" ?
If we come upon a problem that
prevents us from processing or manufacturing your
order we place a "hold" on the order and notify you
immediately. Due to the very custom nature of CD/DVD
manufacturing and the number of different processes
involved, a "hold" can be placed on an order for a
variety of reasons:
1. Missing production materials/assets.
2. Order Forms don't match the quote.
3. IPR Form is not supplied or is incomplete.
4. Artwork is not supplied to our
specifications/requirements.
5. Client's master is corrupt.
6. Client has not responded to a request for
information/clarification.
7. Client has not supplied required licensing for
their Master.
Important: Be aware that a "hold" may delay
the estimated ready-by-date for your order even if
your order is on a "Rush" or "Deadline".

When Your Order
Is Ready
Your shipping instructions
should have already been supplied to us on your
Order Forms, so we will use that information to
determine how your order will leave our premises.
Please remember that unless a credit account is
already in place in advance of you placing your
order, your order must be paid for in full before we
can release it in full or in part.

Shipping Via Courier
If your order is being shipped
to you via courier or freight company make sure you
examine the boxes BEFORE you sign for them.
Please read this additional
important information.
As noted in our Terms Of Business, Precision Disc
Manufacturing Corp. "is not responsible for loss,
damage or delay of products after they have left our
premises." We are a manufacturing company - not a
courier company - so we have no control over the way
the courier or freight company handles your order
after it has left our facility.
Naturally we want our clients to receive their
orders on-time and in good condition so we don't use
just any couriers. If we experience complaints about
a particular freight company we will not use them
again but, as stated, that still doesn't give us
control over the shipment after it has left our
building.
