Supplying Your Audio/Music Content

Before You Supply Your Master Content we urge you to read the information and instructions provided here because we are seeing a lot of client-supplied content and masters (especially audio) that are not formatted correctly.

There Are Three Options

  1. Supply your content as .WAV or .AIFF files

  2. Supply your content as a DDP image

  3. Supply your content on a CDR disc

.............................................................................................................................................................................................

Option 1: Supply your content to us as .WAV or .AIFF files

Fee For This Service: $35.00

Step 1: On your computer, place your audio files in a folder named with your Order Number, then 'Zip' or 'Stuff' the folder.
Step 2: Submit our online FTP Upload Form

Step 3: After submitting the 'Upload Form' you will automatically be forwarded to our FTP Upload webpage.
Step 4: Enter the information requested (including your Order Number) and upload your audio content to us.
Step 5: Submit our online Intellectual Property Release (IPR) Form.

What We Do: After we receive your audio content we will assemble your files based on the information you supplied on your Upload Form - this includes arranging the files in the correct order, confirming CD Text, and adding your supplied ISRC Codes if requested. Once completed, a cue sheet or a screenshot will be emailed to you so you can confirm that the work we performed is correct, and then we will require an emailed approval from you before we will proceed into production.

If Changes Are Required: After we have created/sent you the cue sheet or screenshot for your confirmation, you have one opportunity to request changes to be made for no extra charge. Subsequent requests for changes will incur a $10 fee applied per event.

Important: Your audio files must be formatted/supplied as follows:

File format: .WAV or .AIFF
Bits per sample, per channel: 16
Sample rate: 44.1Khz
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Maximum audio duration for replicated CDs is 74 minutes (this includes gaps between songs).

Option 2: Supply your content to us as a DDP Image (in final form)

Fee for a duplication order of 1-299 units: $35
Fee for a replication order of 300+ units: $25

Step 1: On your computer, place your DDP files in a folder named with your Order Number, then 'Zip' or 'Stuff' the folder.
Step 2: Submit our online FTP Upload Form

Step 3: After submitting the 'Upload Form' you will automatically be forwarded to our FTP Upload webpage.
Step 4: Enter the information requested (including your Order Number) and upload your DDP to us.
Step 5: Submit our online Intellectual Property Release (IPR) Form.

What We Do: After we receive your DDP, a cue sheet or a screenshot will be emailed to you so you can confirm that the track listings and meta-data are correct. We will require an emailed approval from you before we will proceed with the DDP into production.

If Changes Are Required: If changes are required to your DDP after we have created/sent you the DDP cue sheet, you must revise and re-upload your DDP yourself. A $10 re-upload fee will be applied per re-upload.

Option 3: Supply your content to us on a CDR Disc

Fee For This Service (if no modifications to the CDR are required): No Charge
Fee For This Service (if modifications to the CDR are required): $35

Step 1: Read our instructions on burning a CD Audio Master on CDR.
Step 2: Create your Master and copies, and review them thoroughly based on the information provided in Step 1.

Step 3: Using a felt-tip pen, identify your Master copies with your order number, name and phone number.
Step 4: Safely package your Master copies to ensure they are not damaged during shipping.
Step 5: Ship/send your package directly to Precision Disc using a method that gives you a tracking number (not 'regular' mail).
Step 6: Submit our online Intellectual Property Release (IPR) Form.

What We Do: After we receive your CDR Master copies we will attempt to play the first 10 seconds of the first song on our office stereo to ensure the disc is formatted properly as 'CD Audio'. If the CDR plays we will then use it for production purposes (please note that the process of checking for format correctness does not apply CDR Masters sent directly to our stamper-creation facility).

Important: Please be aware of the following:

Your supplied Master copies are deemed to have been received pre-approved and ready for production without any modifications.
We do not listen to your Master copies to check for errors - you must do this prior to shipping your Master copies to us.
Maximum audio duration for replicated CDs is 74 minutes (this includes gaps between songs).
